  Until I had to go to a dentist for 3 caps falling off in the front of my mouth, and I was so embarrassed to talk or smile, I had a lifetime of terrible fear of even the thought of going in a dentist office. I had been many times, but was almost in a panic every time. Then I went to Dr. Troutman, who a friend recommended, and I was very nervous. I discussed with him my fear of even sitting in the chair. He and his staff were very understanding and I had to have a lot done before I got my partial for the top that fills in the missing teeth. I had to go to a oral surgeon, Dr. Park, who is fantastic, and understood my great fear. What he had to do was over before I knew it. Dr. Troutman was so understanding with my fear problem and made sure that I felt no pain at all and was comforting during all of the procedures. His staff are great too. I can't say enough about how great Dr. Troutman is with his patients and understands the needs and concerns of each one. Finally, after most of my life, I am not afraid at all to go have any procedure done. I am actually calm in the chair and know that they are "with me" in a big way no matter what. I will never go to another Dentist again except Dr. Troutman, and Dr. Park (oral surgeon). I trust them both totally and I have never done that before with any dentist. I would recommend him to everyone, esp. those who have a fear of Dentist. He and his staff are the greatest.
